On Sunday, September 21, 2025, in the evocative setting of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, we received the prestigious ‘Impresa e Lavoro’ Award, a recognition granted by the Chamber of Commerce of Milan Monza Brianza Lodi to historic companies that have successfully combined economic development, social responsibility, and strong local roots.
Also known as the Ambrogino of Enterprises, the award annually celebrates those organizations capable of going beyond numbers, showing how doing business can also be an act of culture, identity, and vision.
An acknowledgement of our history
With 64 years of activity, Longo was included among the 110 awarded companies in this edition. A milestone that makes us proud and tells a story of passion, bold investments, and deep roots in the community. Receiving the award in such an iconic venue as Teatro alla Scala made the day even more special: the celebration of a journey that, begun in 1961 with Carla and Consiglio Longo, continues to grow with its eyes set on the future.
This recognition is not only a snapshot of the past, but also a confirmation of the direction we wish to follow: to be a company capable of generating lasting value, placing at the center innovation, sustainability, and authentic relationships. At a time when the entrepreneurial fabric is called to face new challenges, we feel even more strongly the responsibility to carry forward a project based on vision, commitment, and shared responsibility, able to unite tradition with the capacity to renew itself.
Our special thanks
We dedicate this award to all the people who have contributed to our journey: the collaborators who brought energy and expertise, the partners who believed in us, the clients and stakeholders who shared our values. It is thanks to them that today we can look at this recognition not as a point of arrival, but as a new incentive to build the future.
