to data processed in the course of the company\u2019s offline activities: commercial relationships, requests for quotations, orders, emails and telephone contacts, CRM and management systems, trade fairs and events, dealings with customers, prospective customers, suppliers and partners, shipments and deliveries, digital services and job applications.<\/p><h2>Which Data We Process and Why<\/h2><p>The categories of personal data that Longo may collect and process, both online and offline, depending on the relationship with the data subject and the services requested, include:<\/p><ul><li>personal and contact details, such as first name, surname, address, telephone number and email address;<\/li><li>professional and organisational details, such as the company or organisation to which you belong, your role, position and professional contact details;<\/li><li>data required to complete and fulfil purchases and orders, such as delivery and billing addresses and related administrative information;<\/li><li>data relating to enquiries, quotations, offers, orders, interaction history and business relationships, including those recorded in the CRM or management systems;<\/li><li>email address and other contact details used for newsletters and marketing communications, where applicable;<\/li><li>data provided to Customer Services in order to receive assistance;<\/li><li>data required for account registration and management, where applicable;<\/li><li>information relating to trade fairs, events, meetings and other corporate initiatives;<\/li><li>details of recipients of products or gifts provided by customers, such as their name, address and contact details required for delivery;<\/li><li>technical data relating to the that is relevant and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes pursued. Where, in the context of specific services, the data subject provides information revealing allergies, intolerances or health conditions, such data will be processed only where strictly necessary and on the basis of an appropriate legal basis set out in Article 9 of the GDPR, including, where necessary, explicit consent.<\/p><h2>Where does the data come from?<\/h2><p>Data may be collected directly from the data subject or, depending on the circumstances, obtained from the company or organisation for which they work, from a customer who provides the data required for a dispatch or delivery, from partners or event organisers, or from other legitimate professional sources.<\/p><p>Where Longo acts as the data controller and the data is not collected directly from the data subject, it provides the information required under Article 14 of the GDPR within the timeframes and in the manner laid down by the legislation, subject to any applicable exceptions.<\/p><h2>How We Use Your Data<\/h2><p>Longo Un Mondo di Specialit\u00e0 collects and processes personal data for the following purposes:<\/p><ul><li>to conclude and fulfil purchase contracts, orders and service agreements, both online and offline. The processing is based on the performance of the contract or on pre-contractual measures requested by the data subject;<\/li><li>to respond to enquiries, and to prepare quotations, offers and commercial proposals. Inclusion in the CRM system does not automatically result in the sending of promotional communications;<\/li><li>compliance with administrative, accounting, tax and legal obligations, in accordance with the applicable legal requirements;<\/li><li>assessment of CVs and applications for recruitment purposes, on the basis of pre-contractual measures and the applicable labour legislation;<\/li><li>subject to your express consent, the sending of marketing communications, newsletters, offers, promotions and invitations to events. Consent is optional and may be withdrawn at any time;<\/li><li>within the limits set out in Article 130(4) of Legislative Decree 196\/2003, use of the customer\u2019s email address to offer our own products or services similar to those already purchased, subject to the right to opt out free of charge and with ease;<\/li><li>the organisation of trade fairs, events and meetings, and the processing of requests made by the data subject. Any subsequent use for marketing purposes will only take place where the conditions laid down by law are met;<\/li><li>protecting Longo\u2019s rights, preventing abuse and ensuring system security, on the basis of legitimate interest or legal obligations, as appropriate.<\/li><\/ul><h2>Dispatch of products and gifts to recipients specified by customers<\/h2><p>As part of its corporate gifting services, Longo may receive from the customer personal data relating to the recipients of the products or gifts, such as their name, address and contact details required for delivery. This data is used to arrange, manage and verify delivery, and for activities strictly related to this.<\/p><p>In the context of certain services, Longo may process recipients\u2019 data on behalf of the client company, acting as a Data Processor in accordance with Article 28 of the GDPR. Where Longo independently determines the purposes and means of processing, the Company acts as the Data Controller.<\/p><p>Longo does not use recipients\u2019 details for its own promotional activities simply because they have received or sent a gift.<\/p><h2>Measuring email communications<\/h2><p>The platforms used to send communications may provide tools for measuring delivery, opening rates or interaction with messages.
