The first, significant aspect of the world of Longo is the
Enoteca, which opened in the centre of Legnano in 1983. More than three decades later, the venue is a shrine to fine wine, with 800 labels from 500 Italian and worldwide producers and a vast range of fabulous Italian gourmet foods, compiled by Eataly. This legacy, the result of passionate devotion over many years, was launched by our founder
Consiglio and continues to be run with the same passion by his three children, primarily
Paola.
The venue is designed to ensure maximum visibility for each product. Wines, for example, are not separated by region but by price band, a choice that intentionally puts everyday labels and great bottles on an equal footing.
Enoteca Longo is more than a wine shop. It is a venue that promotes a cultural ethos, due to frequent events with oenologists, significant names in Italian journalism, large and small renowned producers and university professors.
